Recom is a managed service provider in Bangladesh that has been serving some of the biggest companies of the country. They are a firm that aims to give back the time and resources that CXOs have to invest in the small everyday tasks by taking over on business processes such as payroll and fund management.
Recom wanted to establish themselves as the go-to consultants for payroll and fund management services. To do this, they had to attract the attention of polished professionals from the biggest companies.
However, their visual communication lacked the sophistication required to make an impression on their target audience. The majority of their social media following were not their intended target audience. So, the brand needed a makeover and start speaking to business leaders.
Upon doing a thorough market study of who else is out there in the same industry, our team helped the client find their niche to focus on. Even though the client mostly provided payroll services, they were not entirely sure about how to stay focused in their communication.
Our research team proceeded to study this target group to understand their goals and challenges. These people prioritize transparency and reliability from whom they hire for BPO services. They are quite high up the hierarchy and have difficulty in cramming heaps of important work into each day.
The voice and tone for Recom were established keeping these facts in mind. This brand needed to speak with authority, to display competence and establish trust. The voice had to be concise and to-the-point with what had to be said since the CXOs are already terribly busy in their day. Lastly, the brand had to speak with sincerity and empathy for the target audience to understand that Recom is a firm that wants to save their clients’ resources and time.
The visual brand identity focused on displaying their core competencies and strengths. Our discovery led to the answer that their core strengths are industry expertise, transparency, and accuracy.
For this, we chose a colour palette dominated by shades of blue since it exhibits a quiet calm and trustworthiness, while the red is meant to symbolise power, competence, and skill.
Geometric shapes are sturdy and dependable. These were used in Recom’s visual brand identity to subliminally imply that their clients can count on them in similar fashion.
